Asbestos is a cancer causing mineral. It used to be used for insulation, and in building material, particularly old cement sheets. Dirty Harry's bin hire can dispose of Asbestos if it is properly packaged so that it does not present a hazard to our workers or the public. Disposal of asbestos incurs charges which are completely separate to the hire of the bin. If you have asbestos that you need to dispose of you must call the office first for packaging instruction and a quote on the cost of disposal. If asbestos is found in a bin improperly packaged or without prior arrangment with the office we have no choice but to return the entire load of waste to your property because of Occupational Health and Safety issues. |
